file importer using libraw

Pratik Anand
I am trying to  use libraw for making a RAW importer, following this example : http://www.libraw.org/docs/Samples-LibRaw-eng.html

It uses RawProcessor.open_file(file);
How to retrieve file that Opticks using PlugInArgList* pInArgList.

Re: file importer using libraw

The filename is passed to Importer::getImportDescriptors() which is the first part of the import process.

Once the user has selected to perform the import, you will need a input on your plug-in arg list of type RasterElement with a name of Importer::ImportElementArg().  If you retrieve the value of that input argument in your ::execute() method implementation, you can then retrieve the DataDescriptor, RasterElement::getDataDescriptor() and from that the FileDescriptor, DataDescriptor::getFileDescriptor() and from the FileDescriptor you can retrieve the filename of the file being imported.

Thanks,

Kip
